The way in which people learn is an important idea to consider when delivering training content, especially for those with limited English proficiency. Training development should follow a systematic process that includes a needs assessment, learning objectives, adult learning principles, course design and evaluation. (Reference: ANSI Z-490.1-2009). One such instructional design model is called ADDIE: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Delivery of training content should incorporate the following ideas which will be thoroughly examined in this presentation: engaging the training participants, delivering the content utilizing a variety of communication styles and using professionally prepared presentation materials. This will ensure maximum communication of the training content with minimum language interference.
