John Ruelle was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Spice World in April of 2019. He provides oversight for all of the Company’s Legal, Finance, Treasury, Information Technology, Human Resource and Global Procurement activities. From 2007 – 2019, Mr. Ruelle served in various Senior Executive Leadership roles for vertically integrated global food manufacturer SunOpta, Inc. (Nasdaq “STKL”). From 1997 - 2007, Mr. Ruelle served as Vice President of Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary for Restaurant Technologies, Inc., where he managed over 40 greenfield start-ups across North America. Prior to his role with Restaurant Technologies, Mr. Ruelle was Director of Operations, Planning and Analysis for LaserMaster Technologies, Inc. and previously was a Certified Public Accountant with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Minor in Management from St. John’s University (Collegeville, MN), where he was also served on the Alumni Board of Directors from 2016 – 2019.
