Name
Using AR & VR in Promoting Workforce Safety, Training & Collaboration
Description

With COVID-19 curtailing travel worldwide, Johnson & Johnson began using smart glass hardware and software to support business continuity and staff. In addition to providing critical support to J&J’s manufacturing sites, the Supply Chain Wearable Smart Glasses project supported J&J’s commitment to sustainability by greatly lowering the need for its support functions to travel. The project allowed J&J to continue to provide essential healthcare products, supporting manufacturing and related activities while ensuring the safety of its production workforce. As the world transitions from the COVID pandemic to the endemic stage, we share how we are making strides towards scaling the initial reactive efforts and actively adding training & collaboration needs and use cases.
