Greg Wesling is the director of manufacturing operations for Protolabs’ injection molding facility located in Plymouth, Minnesota—a position he has held since 2016. As director of Protolabs’ globally recognized plant, he oversees a staff of 450 that designs and builds custom molds for prototyping and on-demand manufacturing of plastic and LSR parts. Greg led the adoption of lean manufacturing principles throughout the plant, and fostered numerous continuous improvement programs centered on safety, quality control and employment development. These initiatives and more garnered recognition as a 2022 IndustryWeek Best Plants winner and induction into the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network.
