Joe Wheatley helped establish Workplace Learning System (WLS) and its predecessor, EnPro Learning System (ELS), and he leads the management consulting group. Wheatley has held various leadership positions in manufacturing, engineering and EHS (environmental, health and safety) within the electronic, semiconductor, biomedical, metal working, plastics and chemical industries. He led EnPro Industries' safety programs to a world-class level, being a three-time recipient of America’s Safest Companies by EHS Today. Wheatley has been instrumental in the development of Workplace Learning System’s cultural development approach, behavior-based tools and safety best practices.
