Mike Mikula has served as global chief engineer of the Advanced Manufacturing organization at Ford since August 2018. His global responsibilities include introducing technology in practical ways to address existing challenges, while pursuing new ways to use advanced technology. Previously, Mikula was global chief engineer for manufacturing system and infrastructure at Ford, responsible for powertrain manufacturing engineering global infrastructure, controls for new model programs, operational oversight of North America Prototype Operations and Engine Testing facilities and development of manufacturing standards for electric and hybrid-electric powertrains. Prior to that, Mikula was plant manager at Rawsonville Components Plant. Previously, he was assistant plant manager at Van Dyke Transmission Plant. Mikula holds a master’s degree in metallurgical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
