Fabian Alefeld is the North American Manager for the Additive Minds consulting services. He is responsible for leading the consulting team in providing support to organizations that are incorporating additive manufacturing technology into their current operations. In this role, he provides direction for the team’s technical consulting and training services that position the organizations they work with for success in AM.

Fabian first joined EOS in 2016, working out of the company’s global operations, EOS GmbH. In his previous role, he facilitated the global Additive Minds marketing and alliance activities and was responsible to scale the Additive Minds services globally. Prior to EOS, he held several positions at MTU Aero Engines and the BMW group.

Fabian earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from the Munich University of Applied Sciences. He developed a master thesis on lean prototyping for web-based startups as part of a program at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE). Fabian is also the founder of the non-profit startup YOURCHANCEtoGIVE. The start-up aims to increase donations by incentivizing people with chances to win extraordinary prizes and events. Today, he still serves as a board member.
